From modern Latin Coccinella ´crimson red´ Lady-bird, 1590s, ´sweetheart´, and from French framboise. Commonly called Frambuesita in Pilsferrer´s world, this little insect is originally from Asia. Its delicious and colorful body however, makes it a favorite among birds of prey.
Vanilla-stick-bug, from old Greek: φάσμα phasma, ´wraith or spirit´ and from Spanish vainilla, literally ´little pod´. Also known in Pilsferrer´s world as Bicho Vainilla. It lives in Mexico and during the night, the vainilla flower of its head opens and its intense smell blooms.
